On May 23, 2025, the “AI + Art Excellence Works Exhibition,” hosted by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT), was held at Chongqing People’s Grand Hall. The MakeID Network Speed Tester, co-developed by CQUPT students and Pisen engineers, became a focal point for attendees across industrial design, advanced manufacturing, and communications engineering disciplines. Issues like “0.5-second webpage delays” or “50ms+ gaming latency” directly impact user experience, requiring installation and maintenance technicians to address not only technical challenges but also user frustrations and trust-building.

Technical Pressure: User complaints have shifted from “connectivity issues” to demands for “speed compliance” and “network stability,” exposing the limitations of traditional speed-testing tools.
Service Pressure: On-site requests for “instant speed verification” and “real-time reports” highlight the need for authoritative tools to maintain service credibility and satisfaction.
MakeID Network Speed Tester: A Lightweight Solution for Gigabit Era
Centered on a compact ergonomic design, the MakeID tester features a striking black-blue contrast to emphasize professionalism, with color-coded functional zones for intuitive operation. It integrates gigabit speed testing, optical power measurement, red-light fault detection, and TV signal simulation. By connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth, it enables low-cost, high-efficiency network diagnostics.
